Super Secret Apple Rumors Podcast 088 - 09.13.2006
Jobs had some lots of iPods man, plenty of those damned iPods -- and now they're back in aluminum, too, not just in that white and black plastic stuff. Oh, and now iTunes plays movies, incorporated in that CoverFlow software, and will better sync to your other PCs -- or stream media to your iTV, due in 2007. Yes, it was indeed a full day for Stevie J., but in the end it turned out alright for Apple fans the world over. Unless you were waiting for an iPhone or video iPod, in which case you're kind of out of luck.Get the podcast

Does Steve's voice sound just a little like Henry Rollins' voice? Or is it just me?
Trent Wolbe @ Sep 13th 2006 2:57PM
Now THAT is a good ear! I definitely hear it. Just a little bit. Maybe Rollins crossed with Bill Pullman.

I still laugh thinking that strictly absolutely no video clip is available on iTunes in Switzerland, soon 1 year after the iPod video release! So you can imagine when this country will see movies available!Aplle can't be serious...

... Or if you were waiting for the Core 2 Duo dang Macbook Pro. Still.

No video tab in the Canadian iTunes store either. And the design changes to iTunes 7 ? Now Safari/Finder has brushed aluminum, Mail light grey and iTunes a darker flat grey. Playlist items black highlighted? No more aqua. Window corners less rounded. Plain ugly now. Or did I install the Windows version on my Mac? The dock icon sure looks like it.

I have no use for iPods. Will not buy one.
What I need is a Mac Mobile device that can do phone, email, messaging (Skype) and a little organizing. Like the HTC Excalibur, but from Apple.

Too bad slingbox does the same thing that iTV does, I like how everytime apple copies a product it gets credit for being the first one to introduce it.
