"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
Hey Fellas,
One thing I was noticing lately, being a father of 2 (only 17 months and 2 weeks, but still...) about video game consoles.
The new consoles are truly for older people. Sure, Wii is kinda cheap, but it is completely a new direction, not just the casual machine as you mention. Looking around there are SO MANY "game systems" for kids. Vtech, Leapfrog, etc all have games, kinda cartridge based, etc, but they all have pretty decent graphics, some of them look like PS1 to N64 level, and they are cheap. So, I'll always be a gamer, I own the 360, I'll own the PS3, and may get the Wii for fun party games down the line...the first thing I'll seriously get for my children will probably be from Leapfrog or VTech...These companies are now the new kids game systems. It will be interesting to see if game studios can somehow get onto these systems for other casual games and not just learning based games.
