Engadget Podcast 052 - 11.15.2005
A surprising amount of news going on in the
content provider market between NBC Universal partnering with DirecTV for digital programming distribution, CBS getting
in bed with Comcast for the same, and Nick and Cartoon Network pairing off with Hasbro on the VuGo — everyone trying
their hand, however poorly, at alternative methods of getting their content out there digitally. But Ed Colligan also
took some time to weigh in on Palm's commitment to the PalmOS in future devices, some of which we're hoping might show
up on Voce, the new Luxury MVNO just announced. Of course, there's also the grim news that the Revolution won't have HD
support or play in the same price range as its competitors, but feel free to call in to comment (or shoot us a
question) about this or anything else at 888-ENGADGET!

We've got lots of gaming news to discuss
this week between Nintendo and Microsoft naming their prices on the Game Boy Micro and Xbox 360, and Sony's absentee
PSP 2.0 update, but there's plenty of other material to work with too. Take Sony's Walkman Bean, for instance, which
leaves us a bit perplexed, while Canon's camera inundation and Sony Ericsson's new P-series phone leave us
reeling. Just another week in the life of the Engadget crew.
